Driving in India is a little different from driving in Europe and the USA. In India traffic plies along the left of the road and all vehicles are right hand driven with the gear lever operated with the left hand. In the cities traffic density is heavy with Tongas, Auto Rickshaws, Cycle rickshaws and pedestrians thronging the roads. The highways are good but stray cattle can be a hazard.
